Our Story

Navigating Behavioral Wellness.  Anchored in Community.

Key Point Health Services was founded in 1982 by Dr. Karl Weber as a response to the growing need for accessible behavioral health care in Dundalk, Maryland. What began as a small, community-driven initiative has grown into a trusted regional provider offering a full continuum of services—from outpatient clinics and psychiatric rehabilitation to residential support and community outreach.

Throughout our evolution, one thing has remained constant: our unwavering commitment to person-centered care. We meet individuals where they are, walking alongside them with compassion, dignity, and respect. Our programs are designed to empower recovery, foster resilience, and strengthen the communities we serve.

Our logo – the Baltimore Clipper ship -honors the maritime legacy of our region, from Francis Scott Key to the shipyards of Sparrows Point. More than a nod to history, it reflects the pride, resilience, and enduring commitment of the communities we serve.

Today, Key Point stands as a vital resource for thousands of individuals navigating behavioral health and wellness. We continue to grow with purpose – guided by the belief that everyone deserves access to quality care, and that healing happens best when anchored in community.
