Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
Helping youth grow, heal, and succeed through personalized, community-based behavioral health support.
At Key Point Health Services, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our Child & Adolescent PRP is a dynamic, community-based program designed to help youth ages 5–17 build resilience, develop life skills, and achieve emotional wellness.
Services through Key Point’s PRP for Children and Adolescents are designed to promote Personal growth, Responsible behavior and Positive outcomes for children and their families. Individual and group activities are designed to complement, support and strengthen the behavioral health (therapy and/or psychiatry) services the child is receiving.
Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, or trauma, our PRP team partners with families and therapists to reinforce clinical goals and create lasting change – right where it matters most: at home, in school, and in the community.

Referral Process
Getting Started with Services Is Simple and Supportive.
To begin the referral process, please complete the referral form.
Once the form is submitted, a member of our PRP team will reach out to the parent, guardian, or caregiver to schedule a face-to-face screening. During this meeting, we will provide an overview of the services offered through the program, assess the child’s needs, and determine how Keypoint can best support those needs.

Explore answers to common questions about the services we offer, how often your child will receive support, ways families can be involved, and what to do if transportation is a concern. Our goal is to ensure every child has access to the care and opportunities they need to thrive.
PRP services include both individual and group activities. Activities are designed to be fun for children so that they are engaged and actively work to reduce functional behavioral impairments and develop and/or restore age-appropriate skills in a variety of areas, including:
- Self care skills
- Semi-independent living skills
- Social/Interactive skills
- Anger management skills
- Educational skills
- Symptom management skills
- Accessing community resources
- Personal safety skills
- Maintaining age-appropriate boundaries
- Time management skills
Children enrolled in the PRP are scheduled to receive services at least three times every month. These services include 1:1 visits with a professional Rehabilitation Counselor and structured therapeutic group activities with peers led by trained PRP staff.
Parents and caregivers are welcome and encouraged to communicate regularly with their child’s Rehabilitation Counselor. Meetings and discussions can take place during scheduled visits/sessions or at any other time. Additionally, PRP staff will schedule appointments to meet with parents/guardians at least every 90 days to review the child’s progress on their goals.
Keypoint recognizes that transportation can be a challenge for families. Keypoint will make an effort to offer transportation for PRP services to families who need it.
